The castle!

is the 15 june 08!
Today we went to the NEUSCHWANSTEIN castle in Munich! it took us 4 hours to travel to n fro back to Munich. It is located at another small towan area around munich. And is like traveling up to genting, the weather when u arrived at the neuschwanstein castle is VERY COLD and the view over there is spectucular! And for that moment when u saw the wonderful scenery, climbing up to get to see the king ludwig's castle, is all worthwhile! and is definitely a must see attraction when u are at munich.

When u enter the castle, is like so magical, many qns popped up! like why 100 years ago, got this castle, and those beautiful furnitures and interior designs that you see. Is like WA wawawa. Speechless. and begin to wonder how is life like in tt time and those people that live in that century. I also wondered how'slife is like in that time. . . is like so magical! Living in castle, with prince, princess, kings and queens. and i supposed disney land get their castle design/idea from there ba.
And 1 interesting fact is that the king ludwig loves Swans! and first we arrived at the maid chamber something like that where we get to see the maid and servant living place. And then make a trip to his bed room, dressing room, kitchen, living room. THere are a total Everything thing in that castle is like so magical! those beds, chairs, paintings is Wow! But King ludwig died at a young age of 41 on the 13th june 1986- the year i was born but i'm nt yet even born! haha a few more days till i was first born! He was drown to death. . . and thus the castle was not built finish.
After the trip to the castle, make me want to knw more about the life of Ludwig and the castle!

The day before which is friday the 13th, it was the "celebration of the foundation of the munich". It was Munich 850 years celebration. Think we are lucky to chance this event, and leslie brought us to tour around marianplatz where there are many people wearing Deutsche trandition costumes. There are a few different troupes each with their unique consutmes, makes us really experience the celebration! It is as if we are in singapore celebrating Xmas or chinese New year. But the people is alot more compared to in SGD.

haha 14 more days till i come back to sgd!
i really miss sgd food
